Offices can connect their own Facebook Pages, Instagram professional accounts, LinkedIn profiles, X accounts, TikTok accounts, Pinterest accounts and Google Business Profiles to TaxPulse so they can publish their own posts from TaxPulse. This page explains how to remove that connection and have the data we received from it deleted. Section 7 of our Privacy Policy describes exactly what that data is.
Sign in, open Social, then Connected Accounts, and choose Disconnect on the account. We immediately erase the stored access and refresh tokens for that account, so TaxPulse can no longer post to it. For X, TikTok and Google Business Profile we also ask the network to revoke the access.
You can also withdraw access from the network's own settings at any time:
If you remove TaxPulse in Facebook and choose to have your data deleted (Facebook offers this as "Send request" under the removed app), Facebook sends us the request automatically. We then delete every Facebook Page and Instagram account record you connected, including the account ids, names, pictures and access tokens, and Facebook shows you a confirmation code with a link to a page here that reports the status of that request.
For any network, you can also email support@taxpulse.biz from the address you use to sign in to TaxPulse and ask us to delete the data we hold from a connected social account. We confirm by reply once it is done, normally within 30 days.
Posts your office wrote in TaxPulse are your office's own content, not data we received from the network, so they stay in your TaxPulse account until you delete them. Deleting data in TaxPulse does not remove posts that were already published on the network; delete those on the network itself.
